BASIC INFORMATION ABOUT GENERAL IELTS CERTIFICATE IN SLOVAKIA
IELTS certificate in Slovakia: The minimum age limit for a student to be admitted to an English course is 15 years old, therefore the language course groups are places where different generations meet. For younger learners, please see our offer of English courses for children and English courses for teenagers.
The maximum number of the students in the class is 10.
The study is divided into two semesters: summer semester (September – January) and winter semester (February – June).
The courses are based on specially designed educational material and the lessons include all the skills: writing, grammar, reading, listening, communication
All the levels of the English language may feature alternating qualified teachers. At higher levels, both of the teachers are native speakers.

The International House Bratislava certificate (The minimum pass rate of 65% in the test and 60% attendance in a semester are required)

The prescribed course books are used in the lessons and all the teachers do their best to fulfil the established goals of the course. Many of the teachers also make use of additional resources including newspaper articles, on-line materials produced by prestigious publishing houses, up-to-date videos, and films, which all contribute to developing the practical English language skills.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT FOR NONNATIVE SPEAKERS AND IELTS CERTIFICATE IN SLOVAKIA
IELTS certificate in Slovakia: Demonstrate English language proficiency in one of the following ways:

IBT (Internet Based TOEFL): 80
PBT (Paper Based TOEFL): 550
International English Language Testing System (IELTS): 6.5
Score of 500 on the Critical Reading Portion of SAT exam.
